Bodices are a basic part of a RenFair Lady's garb, and are also found quite frequently in modern clothing as well. I offer 4 styles of bodice, each available boned or unboned. Currently on this page you can order only the basic styles in polycotton twill, but look to see the variations and fabrics available online increase soon. Until then, if you would like a bodice out of some other fabric (faux suede, faux leather, velvet, just to name a few) or in some other style (with cap sleeves, or skirt panels, for example), please don't hesitate to email me. I will be happy to give you an estimate to make the bodice of your dreams.

Here are some photographs of some of the bodices I have made. On the far left (l) is your basic "wench's bodice", in black, worn by the satisfied lady, Sandra Slade, who ordered it. [Thank you, Sandra, for the photo! (I only made the bodice in the photo!]. In the center left is a "lady's bodice", in a fabric that unfortunately was too pale against the model, so I apologize that you must look hard. In the center right photo is a picture of a robe (a variation of the chemise - contact me!) with a "waist cincher" bodice. And at the far right is a "corset" bodice, made as a gift for the friend (here seen wearing it) who collects cows. (Yes, I can and do make bodices in odd fabrics, just ask if you don't want twill.)

Here is a sketch of the 4 styles of bodice available, to help you choose. Purple: Wench's bodice; Red: Lady's bodice; Green: Corset (with optional straps); Blue: Waist cincher (again with optional straps). Again, all are available with or without boning.

Directions for taking your measurements will be emailed to you if they are not already on file with me.

Again, only certain styles of bodices in polycotton twill can currently be ordered through this page. Any other fabrics and styles that you would wish to purchase can be easily discussed by emailing me.

You can choose to have your bodice without boning (with only the inner skeleton of canvas) ($55), or with it. Three kinds of boning are available: feather-light (plastic) ($70), steel ($75), or spiral ($80).
